I am currently inbetween colleges. I do get financial aid but the college i want to go to i will still need an additional 3,000 for me to attend. I DO NOT want to take out a student loan. We are low income family with a 4 year old, 9 month old twins, and i am 15 weeks pregnant with twins again. There is no way I could pay back student loans. Is there any other scholarships i can get at a mom? after this semester i will have 3.0 maybe alittle higher.

OK SO I THOUGHT I WAS SET FOR COLLEGE. I WAS SUPPOSE TO MOVE IN ON THE 24TH OF THIS MONTH. I CALLED THE SCHOOL TO SEE HOW MUCH MY BOOK FEES WERE AND IF ANY OF MY GRANTS OR SCHOLARSHIPS WOULD PAY FOR THEM AND FINANCIAL AID SAID NO THAT I HAVE TO PAY FOR THEM OUT OF POCKET, AND THAT I HAVE A $1300 FEE plus BOOKS! AND SINCE IM PUTTING MYSELF THRU COLLEGE, I DONT HAVE THAT KIND OF MONEY SITTING AROUND. THE LADY TOLD ME THE ONLY OPTION I HAVE IS TO GET A LOAN. BUT I CANT TAKE OUT A LOAN WITHOUT A CO SIGNER AND I DONT KNOW ANYONE WITH GOOD CREDIT!!! DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY LOANS THAT YOU CAN TAKE OUT WITHOUT A CO SIGNER!? PLEASE HELP!!! THANKS.

Hopefully some one from schools like Syracuse, Boston U, etc… who have gotten loans can give me some advice as to how I can get this taken care of.
I cannot cosign with my parents, they don’t want me to go to private school. Is there some reasonable alternatives to get a loan?

Im thinking of getting a phd and want to teach at the college level. I will have substantial loan debt when i am done with schooling. I know that people who teach in k-12 grades can get loan forgiveness in some states, but never heard of anyone talking about college instructors/professors. Any ideas or know of any resources?
